Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Agreement

By using SquashImg you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service

SquashImg provides a free, browser-based utility to compress, resize, and crop images on your own device. The product is offered as free forever, no login, no paid plan, and no advertising on the tool pages at the time of this update.

We may change features, limits described in product copy (for example notes about browser memory), or discontinue the service. We will try to keep the Privacy Policy accurate when material processing practices change.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the files you process and for complying with applicable law. Do not use SquashImg to process content you do not have rights to handle.

You understand that processing happens in your browser and that very large images may fail or slow your device due to memory or browser limits — that is a client constraint, not a cloud quota we sell past.

No warranty

SquashImg is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Output quality depends on your browser, settings, and source files.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SqueezeCodex and operators of SquashImg are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of the site.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe hosting infrastructure beyond ordinary use, or misuse public sample assets. Automated scraping that degrades service may be blocked by the host.

Intellectual property

Site design, branding, and original copy belong to their owners. You retain rights to your own image files; because we do not receive them for processing, we do not claim a license to your content beyond delivering the static application code.

Third-party links

Footer links to sister tools (for example HeicLocal, WebpKit, IntactPDF) are separate products with their own terms and privacy policies.

Governing notes

These terms are intended for a globally available static utility. Mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction still apply where they cannot be waived.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be directed to the SqueezeCodex team via the operator’s public contact channels published with the portfolio.
